Privacy, plainly.

// short version: this site doesn't want your data.
// the apps take only what they need.

1. Who is responsible

Ines Opifanti (WXT Media), Dorfstraße 18, 22941 Jersbek, Germany. Email: hi@wxt.media. Full details in the imprint.

2. This website

Server logs. When you visit this site, the web server automatically records standard access logs (IP address, date and time, requested URL, browser user agent). These are processed to deliver the site and keep it secure (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) and are not merged with other data or used to identify you.

Analytics. This site uses a self-hosted Matomo instance for aggregate visitor statistics. It is configured to work without cookies, and no analytics data is passed to third parties. Legal basis: legitimate interest in understanding site usage (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

Nothing else. No cookies, no contact forms, no accounts, no ads, no embedded third-party content — fonts are self-hosted. If you email me, your message and address are used only to reply to you.

3. Apps: DawnTracker

DawnTracker does not collect, store, or share any personal data. All calculations run locally on your device. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no third-party SDKs. Your location, if you grant access, is used solely on-device to compute sun times and is never transmitted anywhere.

Apple may process data in connection with the App Store itself (e.g. downloads, opt-in crash reports); see Apple's privacy policy for details.

4. Apps: Interieur

Interieur redesigns a room from a photo you take. That requires sending some data off your device — here is exactly what, where it goes, and what happens to it.

Your room photo. When you request a redesign, your photo is transmitted over an encrypted connection to our backend (hosted in an EU region on Railway) and processed by the AI services listed below. Photos are processed transiently: we do not store them on our servers, and they are discarded once your result has been generated. Legal basis: performance of the service you request (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). Tip: the app only needs your room — avoid including people in the photo.

AI services (processors). To generate the redesigned image and the shopping list, the following providers process image data on our behalf:

  • Google LLC (USA) — Gemini API, image analysis and generation. Certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
  • Anthropic PBC (USA) — Claude API, image analysis. Transfers are safeguarded by EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
  • SerpApi LLC (USA) — product search. Receives only small cropped furniture images taken from the AI-generated render — never your original photo, and no identifiers.

What we store. A randomly generated device identifier (not linked to your name, email, or Apple ID — we couldn't identify you if we tried), a usage counter, your credit balance, and purchase records (Apple transaction ID, product, date). No accounts, no email addresses, no names. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR; purchase records are kept as long as needed to operate the credit system and to meet legal retention obligations.

Purchases. Payments are handled entirely by Apple In-App Purchase; we never see your payment details. Apple processes payment data as an independent controller — see Apple's privacy policy.

On your device. Generated renders, original photos, and your history are stored only on your device. You can delete them in the app at any time; deleting the app deletes them too.

No ads, no tracking. Interieur contains no advertising, no analytics SDKs, and no trackers.

A note on your rights. Because the device identifier is not linked to your identity, we generally cannot single out "your" data if you contact us (Art. 11 GDPR). Your GDPR rights (section 5) still apply wherever identification is possible.

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing of your personal data. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, email hi@wxt.media.

6. Changes

This policy may be updated as the site or apps evolve; the current version is always available at this URL. Last updated: July 16, 2026.
